McClung-Logan Welcomes Mickey Hodges to Lead New Utilities Division

On September 1st, the field service division of our sister company, ML Utilities, merged with McClung-Logan to form McClung-Logan Utilities Division. In this short amount of time my excitement has grown for the opportunities that lay ahead for our company and loyal customers.

This new division is dedicated to servicing and maintaining utility vehicles in an industry that demands technical repair services, compliance inspections, and equipment reliability. With 10 branches across the Mid-Atlantic, McClung-Logan Utilities Division has the resources and geographic footprint to meet our customers’ needs in this specialized industry.

Our expansion into this sector requires seasoned expertise and strong leadership, and we’re thrilled to announce Mickey Hodges as the General Manager of the Utilities Division. Mickey played a pivotal role in building ML Utilities from its inception in 2017 and brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Mickey spent 28 years at Pike Electric and currently serves on the ANSI A92 Main committee and the ANSI A92.2 Sub-Committee as well as having served on the Terex Utilities and Navistar Trucks committees. His deep industry knowledge, commitment to safety, and strong team-building skills make him a valuable addition to McClung-Logan and an insightful resource for our customers.

In addition to growing our field service business, Mickey will be enhancing the division’s offerings by building a fleet of utility equipment available for sale and rental, which fits nicely with McClung-Logan’s existing core capabilities.
