Service Technician Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
As a McClung-Logan Service Technician, you will:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment.
- Use advanced tools and technology to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service and support to our customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and ensure compliance with safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a service technician, preferably with heavy equipment or related machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
