Service Technician Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a McClung-Logan Service Technician, you will:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment.
  • Use advanced tools and technology to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service and support to our customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and ensure compliance with safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a service technician, preferably with heavy equipment or related machinery.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
