The Rodeo attracts top lineworkers from across the East Coast and beyond, uniting for classic lineworker challenges. Journeyman teams and individual apprentices from cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, municipalities, and contractors will display their expertise in this exhilarating competition. Not only does the competition provide a platform to showcase their skills in a rigorous environment crucial for their daily work, but it also enables them to maintain competitiveness, refine physical abilities, and stay abreast of cutting-edge technology. Thus, offering a glimpse of the contemporary lineworker’s proficiency to the world. Last year’s event saw a had a very large turnout, with over 200 lineworkers stepping up to the challenge. It was a testament to the enduring appeal of the Rodeo and the growing recognition of the vital role lineworkers play in our communities.
