Light Dirt Compaction Equipment

Need to compact dirt, but don’t have the space or need for a compactor? McClung-Logan offers numerous options for performing light compaction of dirt.

  • Upright Rammers – These upright rammers compact earth with heavy repeated strikes on the compactor shoe. Both electric and gasoline-powered models available.
  • Vibratory Plate Compactors – Lower, wider compactors deliver compaction impacts over a wider area. Plus, the sophisticated compaction algorithms track the compaction level of underlying soil. Both electric and gasoline-powered models available.
  • Reversible Vibratory Plate Compactors – These compactors allow for variable forward and reverse operation, making them ideally suited to compact trenches and backfill around foundations.
  • Walk-Behind Vibratory Rollers – Rollers are an excellent choice to rapidly achieve compaction in a long stretch of soil. Walk-behind vibratory rollers provide good compaction in a small package.
